Cory A. Buckley

Corrine “Cory” Ann Greer Buckley, 60, of Gainesville passed away on Monday June 8, 2015 following injuries sustained in an automobile accident.  Born on January 17, 1955 in Herkimer, NY, she was the daughter of Bruce Neil Kirchofer and Teresa Ann Compolo. Cory had lived in The Hall County area for more than 30 years.

Cory was employed with CASA Hall/Dawson County where she had served tirelessly working for children for more than 20 years. She was an active member of Free Chapel Worship Center.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Free Chapel Worship Center. Pastor Jose Martinez will officiate. Interment will be in Hillside Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home on Friday, June 12, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Cory is survived by her husband, Warren Buckley of Gainesville; son and daughter in law, Brandon and Jada Greer of Dawsonville, GA; daughter and son in law, Magen and Jose Martinez of McAllen, TX; son and daughter in law, Bo and Drenda Greer of Gainesville; mother and stepfather, Teresa and Richard Shumlansky of Little Falls, NY; sisters, Debbie Kuehnle and Kathy Connor both of Little Falls, NY; grandchildren, Katherine Greer, Kaitlyn Greer, Victoria Greer, Michael Greer, Elizabeth Martinez, Liliana Martinez, Ezekiel Martinez, Karri Lynn Greer, Walker Greer and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
