Donna Jean Anderson Butler

Mrs. Donna Jean Anderson Butler, age 54, of Dahlonega passed away at her residence on Monday, June 01, 2015 following a sudden illness. Born in Hall County, Donna had lived most of her life in Lumpkin County. She was a 1978 graduate of Lumpkin County High School and was a self-employed home health care aid. She was a member of Cavender’s Creek Baptist Church.

Donna was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Phillips and her sister, Rhonda Anderson Stephenson. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Jimmy Butler, of Dahlonega; son-and daughter-in-law, Jonathan and Danielle Butler, of Oakwood; daughter, Jade Butler, of Dahlonega; grandchild; Jase Butler of Oakwood. She is also survived by her father, Donald Anderson, of Dahlonega. Other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 3, 2015 in the chapel of Dahlonega Funeral Home. Rev. Lyman Caldwell will officiate with interment to follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3 – 5 PM and from 6-9 PM Tuesday, June 2nd at the funeral home.
