Harold Dean Clark

Harold Dean Clark, age 85 of Gainesville, passed away Monday, June 01, 2015 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 2:30pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Reverend Shane Wehunt and Reverend Phillip Wehunt officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 from 2:00-4:00pm & 5:00-8:00pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Clark was born April 13, 1930 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Boyd and Nellie Gillstrap Clark. He was retired from General Motors and was a member of Corinth Baptist Church. Mr. Clark was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Dot Miles and his brother, Bill Clark.

Mr. Clark is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Henrietta Wright Clark; daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Phillip Wehunt of Gainesville; daughter and son-in-law, Gail and Bruce Barrett of Gainesville; daughter and son-in-law, Vicky and Ricky Young of Cleveland; son and daughter-in-law, Monty and Audrey Clark of Gainesville; son and daughter-in-law, Hank and Mary Clark of Gainesville; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Mary Clark of Gainesville and sister, Doris Watson of Flowery Branch.
