Mary Rebecca Royal Jacobs

Mary Rebecca Royal Jacobs, 92, of Cumming, GA died on May 27, 2015.  Born in Walton County, GA on September 25, 1922, she was the daughter of the late John and Adabel Jones Royal.  Her beloved husband of 66 years, Edward Emory Jacobs also preceded her in death.

Rebecca grew up the Welcome All Baptist Church community. When young, she sang with her sisters and their mom accompanied.  She packed C-Rations for Nabisco during World War II and retired from Woodward Academy.  She was a beloved mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family.

Rebecca is survived by her daughter, Judith (Bill) Cleveland-Vaden of Cumming, GA; 4 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, May 29, 2015 in the chapel of McDonald and Son Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until service time on Friday.  Private interment will follow at a later date.
