Hoyt Mintz

     Mr. Hoyt Mintz age 75 of Gainesville passed away on Tuesday May 26, 2015 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

                Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday June 03, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Bethel Church of the Nazarene with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Pastor Sean  Gray will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday June 02, 2015 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The body will lie in state on Wednesday June 03, 2015 from 12:00- 2:00 p.m. at Bethel Church of the Nazarene.

                Mr. Mintz was born on November 18, 1939 in Homer, Georgia to the late Edgar Mintz and Addie Cornelius (Anderson) Mintz. He was a member of Free Chapel and retired from Norton Company as a welder. He is preceded in death by his parents, son, Hoyt Jr., sister, Joann Mintz, 6 brothers, Wallace, James, Edward, George, Jerry, and Gregory Mintz.

                Mr. Mintz is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, James (Annette) Mintz of Dacula, son and daughter-in-law, Joe (Tracy) Mintz of Woodstock, son, Earl Mintz of Gainesville, son, Jason Mintz of Gillsville, daughter, Sandra Mintz of Gainesville, daughter, Elisa Aguliar of Gillsville, daughter, Valerie Mintz of Gainesville, brother, Bobby Mintz of Gainesville, special friend, Leola Mangrum of Gainesville, 8 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives, family and friends.
