Anita Karen Lunsford

Anita Karen Lunsford, age 58 of Gainesville, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2015 at her residence.

Memorial services are scheduled for Thursday, May 28, 2015 at 6:00pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Reverend Earl Pirkle officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 28, 2015 from 5:00-6:00pm at the funeral home prior to the service.

Ms. Lunsford was born April 6, 1957 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Horace Lunsford and the late Mildred Chastain Flanagan. She was of the Baptist faith. Ms. Lunsford was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, David Lunsford; her daughter, Ashleigh Dale Lunsford; her boyfriend, Mike Springer.

Ms. Lunsford is survived by her son, Christopher Posten of Lula; daughter, Julia Lunsford of Gainesville; daughter, Ellen Sandidge of Gainesville; step-daughter, Amanda Laport of Habersham County; 6 granddaughters; 5 grandsons; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Elsie Ruth Grier of Gainesville and brother, Kenneth Dale Lunsford of Clermont.
