Ladys (Granny) Haley Scogin, age 89 of Nicholson, GA, died Saturday May 23rd , 2015. She was the daughter of the late Luid Criss and Mattie Hart Haley and widow of Ellis Weldon Scogin. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Faye Smith and a son, Felton Scogin.
Survivors include sons, Jerry (Sue) Scogin of Carlton, Bruce (Pat) Scogin of Colbert and Dwight (Nancy) Scogin of Commerce. Daughters Debra (Danny) Smith of Comer, Lynn (Gary) Smith of Nicholson and Connie (Steven) Roth of Comer a sister, Leola Haley, Ila, 19 Grandchildren, 34 Great Grandchildren and 9 Great-Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6-8 pm Sunday May 24th at the funeral home. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Monday, May 25th at Ivie Funeral Home & Crematory, Danielsville with family members officiating. Burial in the Kirk Family Cemetery Colbert, GA.
