Fletcher Hubert Whitmire

Mr. Fletcher Hubert Whitmire, age 56, of Gainesville, GA passed away Saturday, May 23, 2015.

He was a lifelong resident of Hall County and retired from Norton Company in Flowery Branch after 27 years of service.

Fletcher was preceded in death by his mother, Jeanette Smith Whitmire.

He is survived by his father, Emory Irvin Whitmire, Gainesville, GA; sister, Dana Whitmire Gaboury, Gainesville, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Teddy and Pam Whitmire, Jefferson, GA; nephews, Jason Whitmire and Cory Walker, both of Gainesville, GA; niece, Brandy Roberts, Lula, GA; and special caretakers, Kathy Ledford and Marie Brown.

Funeral services for Mr. Whitmire are scheduled for 2 PM Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Hillside Chapel Funeral Home in Gainesville, GA.

Rev. Danny Newburn will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Southbend Methodist Church Cemetery in Hall County.

The family will receive friends at Hillside Chapel Funeral Home in Gainesville from 6 PM until 8 PM on Monday, May 25, 2015.
