Mrs. Louvenia Harper Young was a lifetime resident of Hall County. She was born in Flowery Branch on December 22nd 1935. Louvenia entered into rest on Thursday, May 14th2015. She attended Mount Zion School in Oakwood, GA. Mrs. Young was a member of New Life where she served as a faithful Choir member. Louvenia was a wonderful and faithful housewife.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joe Young, son James Young, daughters: Barbara Ann Young and Leslie Lavon Young, one granddaughter Christine Collins, and grandsons: Sammy Young, David (Squeaky) Young and Finn Young.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories five daughters: Linda Bailey, Mary Lois Young, Alma Jean Young, Annie Marie (Raymond) Collins, Teresa Young, three sons: David E. Young, Arthur (Mary) Young, Jeffery Young, two brothers: Curtis (Charlotte) Harper and Roger (Pat) Harper, six sister-in-laws: Ola Bell Harper, Dorothy Bell Fields, Mattie Hughey, Carolyn Strickland, Pearlie (Clarance) Mullins, Bobbie Nell Dorsey, two brother-in-laws: Harvey Young and Raymond Young, Special friends: Cecil Dorsey, Dallas Williams, Ellan Nolan, thirty four grandchildren, eighty seven great grandchildren and a host of cousins relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Mount Zion Baptist Church, Oakwood, GA at 11 am. Visitation will beheld on Friday, May 22, 2015 at Wimberly & Jackson Funeral Home from 6-8pm. Professional Services Entrusted to Wimberly & Jackson Funeral Home.
