Edith Dalton Wade, age 88, of Line Church Community, Alto, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2015.
Mrs. Wade was born on January 12, 1927 in Banks County, Georgia to the late Odis and Mary Payne Dalton. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Grady B. Wade; brothers, Vance Dalton, Bradford Dalton, and Nelson Dalton. Mrs. Dalton was a member of Line Baptist Church. She was a retired employee of Carwood Manufacturing with 52 years of service.
Survivors include her sister, Eleanor English, Homer, GA; brothers, Ruben Dalton, Homer, GA, Ralph Dalton, Alto, GA; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 am on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Line Baptist Church, Alto, Georgia, with Rev. Kenneth McEntire officiating. Interment will follow in Line Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 pm on Friday, May 22, 2015.
