Aaron Herschel Thomas

Aaron Herschel Thomas, 87, of Dahlonega passed away on May 20, 2015 at Gold City Nursing following and extended illness.

                Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 22, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Randall Hulsey will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 22, 2015 from 3-4 p.m. prior to the service.

                Mr. Thomas was born on august 30, 1927 in Pendergrass to the late Frank and Lula Smith Thomas. He was retired from Leece-Nevill and was of Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Joyce Ann Thomas; son, Randy Thomas; 3 brothers and 7 sisters.

                Mr. Thomas is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Jannette Thomas of Dahlonega; son, Gerald Timmy Thomas of Gainesville; grandson, Timmy Thomas of Cleveland; granddaughters and their husbands, Julie and Mark Faircloth of Dahlonega, Nicole and Sean LeCave of Gainesville; great grandson, Taylor Goss of Dahlonega, Cody LeCave of Duluth, Chandler LeCave of Gainesville, Christian LeCave of Gainesville and Dillon LeCave of Gainesville; great granddaughter, Anna Mae LeCave of Gainesville.
