Carrie Hazel (Williams) Wright

Carrie Hazel (Williams) Wright, 93, of Gainesville passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at her residence.          

Graveside services will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery in Newnan, Georgia on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at 1:00pm. Reverend Wayne Hicks will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 from 7:00 to 9:00pm at the funeral home.       

Mrs. Wright was born on April 11, 1922 in Aberdeen, GA to the late William Johnnie and Wreathy Elizabeth Spratlin Williams. She was a Civil Service Financial Officer for the United States Army at Fort McPherson and was a member of New Haven Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eustace Clarence Wright; 6 sisters and 1 brother.

Mrs. Wright is survived by her daughter, Carla Irene Gilbert of Gainesville; son, Herb Wright of Austin, TX; sister, Martha Williams Gill-Clark of Senoia, GA; granddaughters, Shannon Langford and Carrie Melissa Moore; grandsons, Zack, Jeremy and Nick Wright; 11 great grandchildren.
