John Lee Givogre, III, age 20, of Gainesville, Georgia, went to be with his Lord Jesus on Saturday, May 16, 2015.
Memorial Service and Celebration of the life of this beloved young man, will be held 5:00 pm, Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel. The family will receive friends from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm Wednesday prior to the service. Dr. Mark Rutland and Reverend Hannah Hill will officiate.
John Lee was born January 12, 1995 in Gainesville, Georgia. He attended Gainesville City Schools and was a 2013 graduate of Gainesville High School. While at Gainesville High School, he was an exceptional student, Captain of the Academic Bowl and a member of the State Champion Academic Bowl Team. Following his high school career he attended University of North Georgia, a member of the Dean’s List and was accepted to transfer to Georgia Tech.
He worked for Collins Property Group and enjoyed his family, friends and riding his motorcycle. John Lee always made an impression on those he met and knew. He will always be loved and missed more than words can say. He truly loved Hall County and always wanted to settle here.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Doreen Givogre and his grandfather, Rowland Joseph Shaw.
He leaves behind his parents, Kathline Collins; Dr. John L. Givogre (Tonya) all of Gainesville; sisters, Caroline Givogre, Cori Ryan and fiancé, Joshua Huggins of Gainesville; and Hannah Latone of Nashville, TN; brothers, Kyle Ryan of Charleston, SC; and Sam Latone of Chattanooga, TN; grandparents, John Givogre; Ted and Wanda Stanley all of Lula; Rita Hess of Miami, FL; several aunts and uncles; nephew, Isaac Tilson of Gainesville; and a number of cousins and other family and friends also survive.
