James E. (Buddy) Walker

Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Mr. James E. ‘Buddy” Walker, age 70 of Cleveland. Mr. Walker passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2015. Graveside services are scheduled for 3:00 pm, Sunday, May 16, 2015 at Gateway Memory Park with Rev. Sammy Reed officiating. Buddy was born in Ocilla, Georgia on April 29, 1945 to Louise Scott Walker and the late Laster Walker, He spent most of adult life in Winter Park, Florida and had lived in White County since 2004 where he was employed with RS Trucking in Oakwood. He is survived by his wife, Kristena Carr Walker of Alto; daughter, LaWanda Louise Long (Kenneth) of Maitland, Florida; son, James E. Walker Jr. (Angela) of Lake County, FL; mother, Louise Woods, Cleveland; brothers, Jackie Woods and Irving Woods of Plant City, FL.; sisters, Karlene Koger, B. J. Strickland, Shirley Highsmith and Kathy Ray all of Cleveland; grandchildren, Kenneth Kyle and Stacey Long and Ashley Nichole Walker, great granddaughter, Abby Walker.
