Dee Lois Hamilton

Ms. Dee Lois Hamilton age 72 of Gainesville passed away on Wednesday May 13, 2015 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.            

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday May 15, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend Cecil Reeves will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday May 14, 2015 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.            

Ms. Hamilton was born on January 07, 1943 in Gainesville, Ga to the late Homer Lee Smith and Cozetta Melissa Head Smith.  She was retired from Pilgrim Pride where she worked on the Janitorial Staff and was a member of Prospect Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughters, Lori Ann Phillips, Penny Sue Phillips, sister, Joan Berry, brother, Timmy James Smith, granddaughter, Kourtney Anne Dill.              

Lois is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Leon and Annette Phillips of Gainesville and Ray and Caroline Phillips of Gainesville; granddaughter, Heather Nicole Phillips; grandson, James Dalton Phillips; granddaughter, Rebekah Anne Dill; grandson, Garry Frank Cantrell; sister, Brenda Seabolt of Murrayville; brothers, Homer Junior Smith of Clermont, Johnny Lee Smith of Gainesville, Frankie Lamar Smith of Gainesville, Randall David Smith of Clermont and Danny Lee Smith of Gainesville.
