Diego Martinez

Mr. Diego Martinez, age 81, of Gainesville passed away Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center – Braselton.

Memorial Mass will be 6:30 p.m., Monday, May 18, 2015 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church.  Father Luis Alvarez will officiate.

Mr. Martinez was born December 7, 1933 to the late Diego Martinez & Teresa Correa in Caicedonia, Columbia.  He moved from New Jersey 9 months ago and loved to cook, listen to music and play Parcheesi.

Mr. Martinez is survived by daughters, Olga Patricia Martinez of Flowery Branch and Grecia Martinez of New Jersey; nephew, Jorge Correa of Flowery Branch; and niece, Maria Correa of Jefferson.
