Shelby Fowler Presley

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Shelby Fowler Presley, age 67, of Maysville, Georgia who entered into rest Saturday, May 9, 2015.  Mrs. Presley was born in Jackson County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Robert and Willonell Brewer Fowler, she was a homemaker and a caregiver to many and was a Charter Member of Redeemed Baptist Church in Commerce, Georgia.  In addition to her parents she is only recently preceded by her late husband, William David “Bill” Presley, a sister Juanita Stowe and a brother, William Fowler.

Survivors include two sons; David Presley and his wife Dana of Maysville, Darrel Presley and his wife Sharon of Nicholson, a daughter Melody Dudziak and her husband Mark of Jefferson.  Sister; Sheila Beck of Pendergrass, brother; Edward Fowler of Auburn.  Close family friends, Danny and Cindy Whitlock, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 12, 2015 from Redeemed Baptist Church, 805 B Wilson Road, Commerce, Georgia, with Reverends Phil Parks, Darrel Presley, and Mike Stowers officiating with Reverend Louis Gaddis officiating at the graveside.  Burial will follow in Evans Memory Gardens, Jefferson, Georgia.  Gentlemen honored as pallbearers are Joshua Presley, Brian Presley, Corey Mize, Danny Whitlock, Mark Dudziak and Johnny Fowler.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, May 11, 2015, 6:30 – 9:00 P.M.
