Dorothy 'Jean' Hodnett

Dorothy “Jean” Hodnett, 77, of Gainesville passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Reverend Jeff Cook will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 10^th from 12-1 p.m. prior to the service.

Mrs. Hodnett was born on October 4, 1937 in Calhoun, GA to the late Paul and Vesta LeFevers Dupree. She was retired from First Multiple Listing Service as an administrator and was a member of Blackshear Place Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, and a friend to all that came into contact with her.

Mrs. Hodnett is survived by her husband of 54 years, Bob Hodnett of Gainesville; son, Scott Hodnett of Athens; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Todd Berryhill of Marietta; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Maria Hodnett of Gainesville; grandchildren, Aaron and Leah Berryhill and Aiden Hodnett; brothers and sisters-in-law, Houston and Bonnie Dupree of Fayetteville, GA, Otis and June Dupree of FL; brother, Charles Dupree of FL.

Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA  30504 is in charge of arrangements.
