W. J. Gatewood

W. J. Gatewood, 89, of Cumming, GA died on May 5, 2015.  Born in Forest, MS he was the son of the late William and Allie Gatewood.

Formerly of Indiana, W.J. moved to Brunswick and then to Cumming following retirement.  He served in the US Navy and was a member of First Redeemer Church.  W.J. was a loving husband, devoted father and grandfather who will be greatly missed by his family.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Gatewood of Cumming, GA; children, Pam Mauk of Cumming, GA and Tim Gatewood of Zionsville, IN; sister, Minnie Warren of Pulaski, MS; 6 much-loved grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at the funeral home. Private graveside services will be held at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.
