Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday May 6, 2015 at Ward's Funeral Home Chapel for William Doug Jones, age 72, Cleveland. The Rev. Nathan Hudgins will officiate. Interment will follow at New Holland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. Jones passed away Monday May 4, 2015.
A native of New Holland, Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Maggie (Croy) Jones. He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.
Survivors include sons and daughters in law, Ronnie Jones, Gainesville, Brad and Tiffany Jones, Jefferson, Michael Jones, Gainesville; daughter and son-in-law, Becky J. and Nathan Hudgins, Lula; sister and brother in law, Sue and John Pickelsimer, Blairsville; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
