Dolores Long Maddox

Dolores Long Maddox, age 79 of Buford, GA, died Saturday, May 2, 2015 after an extended illness.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, May 4, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Mark Hutchins, Rev. Jerry Crocker, and Rev. Cecil Ash will officiate. The family will receive friends Sunday, May 3, 2015 from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.

Mrs. Maddox was preceded in death by her Husband, Emory Maddox, Great Grandson, Leland Parks, Sister, Veeda Claire Long, Brother, Elton Long, Sister In-law, Barbara Long. She is survived by her Children, Jackie Maddox, Buford and David Maddox and Wife Cheryl, Auburn, KY. Grandchildren, Michelle Brown and Husband Justin, Buford, Sharon Parks, Auburn, KY, and David Maddox, Auburn, KY. Great Grandchildren, Dylan Brown, Edna Brown, Patrick Parks, and Kaylee Parks. Brother, Virgil “Bud” Long, Porterdale, GA. Several Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.

Dolores was born in Macon, GA and lived in the Atlanta area the past 60 years. She was a retired bus driver of 32 years from High Hope Center in Lawrenceville and Gwinnett County School System. She attended Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
