Carolyn Herrington Edge

Carolyn Herrington Edge, age 69 of Gainesville, passed away Friday, May 01, 2015 at New Horizons Limestone following an extended illness.  

Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, May 3, 2015 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Reverend Earl Pirkle officiating. Interment will be held in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 2, 2015 from 5:00-8:00pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Edge was born October 20, 1945 in Gainesville, Georgia to Harry Herrington and Nell Herrington. She was retired from Jay Lou’s restaurant and was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Sherry Thrasher.

 Mrs. Edge is survived by her husband, William Edge of Gainesville; son and daughter-in-law, Dewayne and Christie Watson of Gainesville; sister and brother-in-law, Pat and Donnie Miller of Gainesville; sister, Sue Chapman of Gainesville; brother and sister-in-law, Gene and Becky Herrington of Gainesville; 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.          

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northeast Georgia, 2150 Limestone Parkway, Suite 222, Gainesville, GA 30501.
