Kevin Edward Taylor

Kevin Edward Taylor, 64, of Clermont passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.       

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 4, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Father Brian Higgins will officiate. The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 3, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.             

Mr. Taylor was born on August 29, 1950 in Oak Park, Illinois to the late Gregg William and Margaret Corry Taylor. He worked as a Medicare Specialist for NCO and was of the Catholic faith. He proudly served his country for nine plus years as a member of the U.S. Navy and served 2 tours in Vietnam. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Brian Taylor; sister, Maurita Taylor.              

Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife, Patsy Hicks Taylor of Clermont; son, Kevin E. Taylor Jr. of Clermont; son, Sean C. Taylor of Clermont; brother and sister-in-law, Gregg W. Taylor Jr.  and Ann Taylor of Spring Hill, FL, sister and brother-in-law, Maureen Taylor Buckner and James Buckner of Gainesville and a host of other loved family members. Kevin and Patsy out of the goodness of their heart proudly assisted with the parental role of several young adults, Levi, Nick, Ryan and Will. Kevin with his big heart was an exemplary role model to many.
