Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Thursday April 30 at Ward's Funeral Home Chapel for Bonnie L. Wehunt age 76 of Gainesville. The Rev. Steve Ford will officiate. Interment will follow at 1:30 p.m. at the Wehunt Family Cemetery in Dahlonega. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Wehunt passed away Monday April 27, 2015.
Mrs. Wehunt was born in Hall County to the late Barney John Crane and Jessie Truelove Crane. She spent most of her life in Hall County moving to Canon, Georgia 1 year ago. She had worked at Milliken Mills and was of the baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husbands, James Dennis Tipton, James Owen Little, Herbert Horace Wehunt, brothers, Alvin Crane and Thurman Crane.
Survivors include sons, Thomas O. Little, Gainesville, step-son, Mike Wehunt, Ila, GA, daughter and son-in-law, Maria D. and Thomas Ford, Canon, GA, step-daughter, Katie Glover, Gainesville, step-daughter, Linda Wehunt, sister, Nora Lee Thomas, Gainesville, 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
