Kathleen Page Brown

Kathleen Page Brown of Clayton, GA, a resident of Gainesville for the last ten years, passed away April 27, 2015.

     She was born December 4, 1912 to Edward Franklin and Roxie Moore Page of Rabun Gap, GA. She was married to the late Samuel Kermit Brown for 53 years until his death in 1992.

     Kathleen is survived by her two daughters; Joyce and husband Robert Alexander of Sunset, SC, and Jacqueline Brown Greene of Dillard, GA, as well as four grandchildren; Robert Alexander Jr, Matthew Greene, Mark Alexander, Amanda Greene, and three great-grandchildren.

     Kathleen was an inspiration to both family and friends through her warm and caring attitude. She was a self-taught artist, a gardener and a great cook.

     She was a member of Clayton Baptist Church.

     She will be greatly missed.

     A Celebration of Life service will be held April 29, 2015 at 10:30 AM in the Chapel of Beck Funeral Home with Pastor Peggy Garland. The family will receive friends following the service at the Funeral Home.
