Susan Elizabeth Brannan

Mrs. Susan Elizabeth Brannan, age 59, of Flowery Branch passed away Monday, April 27, 2015 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Memorial Services will be 7:00 p.m., Friday, May 1, 2015 in the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home.  Rev. Delma Simmons will officiate.  The family will receive friends 6:00 – 7:00 p.m., Friday, May 1, 2015 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Mrs. Brannan was born August 2, 1955 to the late Jasper Reid Bowen& Evelyn Poston in Dawson, Georgia.  She was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church and a Special Education Teacher with the DeKalb County School System for 28 years.

Mrs. Brannan is survived by husband of 28 years, Jim Brannan of Flowery Branch; son & daughter-in-law, Greg & Brittney Brannan of Flowery Branch; daughter & son-in-law, Kristin & Kerry Wilson of Franklin, Tennessee; grandchildren, Cameron Wilson, Presley Brannan, Conner Wilson and Cooper Wilson; brothers & sisters-in-law, Ron & Jan Bowen of Atlanta and Lex & Pam Bowen of Hull, Georgia; and several nieces & nephews.  She was preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Bowen.
