Mrs. Betty F. Weedlun, age 90, of Buford passed away Friday, April 24, 2015 at her residence, surrounded by family.
Memorial Services will be 3:00 p.m., Monday, April 27, 2015 in the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home. The family will receive friends starting at 6:00 p.m., Monday, April 27, 2015 at the Bahai House.
Mrs. Weedlun was born June 16, 1924 to the late Raymond Campbell and Beatrice Buss in Foster County, North Dakota. She discovered the Bahai Faith in her youth and became a member and then actively served as a Pioneer with her family in Taiwan and on various Local Spiritual Assemblies. Mrs. Weedlun enjoyed gardening, taking care of house plants, cooking, baking and was an avid Bridge player.
Mrs. Weedlun is survived by her husband, Russell D. Weedlun of Buford; sons & daughters-in-law, Terry & Jody Weedlun of Scottsville, Virginia and Paul & Morag Weedlun of Fulton, Maryland; son, Phil Weedlun of Buford; and 4 grandchildren, Ian, Matthew, Jessica & Joanna. She was preceded in death by her son Mark Weedlun.
