Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m Saturday April 25, 2015 at Ward's Funeral Home Chapel for Jack Willard Gilleland age 72 of Gainesville. Dr. Terry Crawford will officiate. Interment will follow at Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mr. Gilleland passed away Wednesday April 22, 2015.
Mr. Gilleland was born in Hall County to the late Jack Barnes Gilleland and Mattie Lou Ledford Gilleland. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a member of New Holland Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Reba Maxine Robinson Gilleland and brother Hugh Dillard Gilleland.
Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Kim Gilleland, Gainesville, daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Jay Thomas, Homer, GA, 3 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and his loving cat Paws.
