Dameon Malachi Roach, age 13 of 2167 Hicks Road, Toccoa, Georgia passed away Sunday, April 19, 2015 from injuries sustained in an accident.
A son of Marvin and Ginger Smith Roach, he was born June 21, 2001 in Stephens County, Georgia where he lived all his life. He was a 7th Grade Student at Stephens County Middle School, a member of American Bantam Association and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his parents, Marvin and Ginger Smith Roach of the home; three brothers, Wayne Roach and Josh Roach both of the home and Matthew Sabato of Atlanta; three sisters, Megan Howell and Niki Gibson both of Toccoa and Santana Sabato of Greenville, South Carolina; grandparents, Joel and Mary Nell Simmons and Charles and Sandra Smith both of Toccoa.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 22, 4:30 PM at New Hope Baptist Church with the Reverend David Sosebee, Mrs. Jana Cheek and Mr. Jim Bellamy officiating. Brothers and cousins will serve as pallbearers, Joshua Roach, Matt Sabato, Wayne Roach, Cody Martin, Andrew Fitzgerald and Cain Clayton.
The family will be at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Smith, 2688 Nub Garland Road, Toccoa and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Tuesday, 2 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM.
Interment will be in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Dameon Malachi Roach.
