Larry Randoll Bailey, 76, of Cleveland, Georgia, and formerly of Buford and Sugar Hill, Georgia, passed away suddenly in an accident during the afternoon of April 18, 2015.

Larry was born on October 28, 1938, to Harvey and Ollie Bailey.

Larry has been the owner and president of Bailey Cabinet Company since the mid-1960s. He served on the board of directors at People’s Bank & Trust since its inception. He was also a member of Gwinnett Rotary Club, and was once honored as Rotary’s Small Business Man of the Year. As a local small-business owner, Larry made it his mission to give back to the community that had always supported him. He served as a founding member of the Volunteer Fire Department for the City of Sugar Hill for twenty years. Larry was also a member of the Gwinnett Water Authority for over ten years. Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing him would agree that his kindness and generosity were absolutely unparalleled.

In addition to his community involvement, Larry will certainly be remembered for his love of antique automobiles. He has been actively involved in car clubs for over fifty years, beginning first with his membership to the AACA. He was a member of the Antique Automobile Club of America, the V8 Club of America, Classic Cars of America, and the Lincoln Club. He made 49 consecutive trips to Hershey, Pennsylvania to attend the annual national AACA show.

Larry is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Doris Bailey, brother JW Bailey, daughter Rhonda Bailey, daughter and son-in-law Lisa and David Hill, daughter-in-law Becky Bailey, granddaughter Ashley Pierce, granddaughter and grandson-in-law Katie and Eric Eberhardt, grandson Michael Hill, grandson Keelan Bailey, grandsons Wyatt and David Bailey, and granddaughter Lillie Bailey, along with many nieces and nephews.

Larry was preceded in death by five of his children: David Bailey, Kimberly Bailey, Russell Bailey, Linda Puckett, and Michael Bailey, as well as his parents Harvey and Ollie Bailey, and sisters, Vera Mae Bailey, Hazel Chesser, and Verna Rowlin.
