Linda Bernadett (Moore) Chew, 72, of Johns Creek, GA, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2015, at home. Born in Martinsville, VA, she was the daughter of the late Lemmie and Gertrude (Mitchell) Moore.
Before moving to Georgia, she was a resident of Ellicott City, MD and a 30-year resident of Westchester County, NY.
She is survived by her children and spouses, Kevin (Virginia) Phillips of Cumming, GA and Karen (Eric) Richardson of Johns Creek, GA., her sister L. Carolyn Hinnant and her brother, Lonzo Moore, both of Maryland; 9 loving grandchildren, 5 nieces and many extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, L. Lewis Moore and Leandy Moore.
Per her wishes, a private beachside ceremony celebrating her life will be held in June. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
