R.B. Upton

Mr. R.B. Upton, age 73 of Dahlonega passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.  He was a former resident of Baldwin, Florida and has lived in Lumpkin County the past seven and a half years. He was retired from Allied Systems where he was employed as a truck driver. Mr. Upton was a Veteran of the United States Navy and was of the Baptist Faith.

He is preceded in death by his wife Frances Marie Upton and his son Christopher Arby Upton

Mr. Upton is survived by his daughter Debra Michele Perdue and husband Michael; daughter in law Jessica Leigh Upton; his sister Marian Prescott, grandchildren, Brittany Fanning, Megan Paterson (Ryan), and Annabelle Upton. He is also survived by one great grandson Gavin James Paterson.

A military honors service will be held Wednesday April 22, 2015 at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton at 1:30 PM.
