Helen Ruth Kimsey

Funeral services for Helen Ruth Kimsey, age 85 of Clarksville will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 18, 2015 from the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Clarkesville with Rev. Furman Lewis and Rev. Tommy Stowe officiating.  Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery.   The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, April 17, 2015 from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM.

Mrs. Kimsey passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2015.

Born in Habersham County on March 1, 1930 Mrs. Kimsey was the daughter of the late Joseph Lafeyette Hunter and Elsie Mae Williams Hunter.  She is a 50 plus year member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and also led Bible Study at Magnolia Hills.  Mrs. Kimsey was a loyal volunteer and supporter of Sharing and Caring.  In addition to her parents Mrs. Kimsey is preceded in death by husband Charles William "Bill" Kimsey, sons Charles Kimsey and Jimmy Kimsey and sister Louise Welborn.

Survivors include son and daughter in law Larry and Annie Taylor Kimsey of Mt. Airy, sisters in law Joan Smith and Doris Sims, three grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
