Johnnie Butler Daniel

Mrs. Johnnie Butler Daniel, age 89, of Buford, GA passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2015.  She was preceded in death by her husband, James Daniel.  She is survived by her children, Gloria Jones, Flowery Branch, GA, Julia Hutchins, Buford, GA, George Daniel, Buford, GA, Delores Daniel, Buford, GA, and James Ronnie Daniel, South Africa; twelve grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; thirteen great-great grandchildren; and brother, Rev. Robert Butler, Buford, GA.  Mrs. Daniel was born June 15, 1925 in Buford, GA.  She was a graduate of the Gainesville City School System.  She was retired from Bona Allen Company and Georgia Boot Company in Flowery Branch, GA.  She was a member of Poplar Hills Baptist Church, Buford, GA where she belonged to various organizations at the church.  Funeral service will be held Friday, April 17, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Poplar Hills Baptist Church, Buford, GA with Rev. Avery Headd officiating.  The remains will lie in state at the church beginning at 1:00 p.m. until time of service.  Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford, GA.  Honorary pallbearers will be the Deacons of Poplar Hill Baptist Church and the flower girls will be the granddaughters and nieces.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, April 16, 2015 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
