Frances Black

Frances Richardson Black, formerly of Commerce, Georgia, died April 9, 2015.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 66 years, Andrew Parks (A.P.) Black. She will lovingly be remembered by her two daughters and sons-in-law; Carol (Carper) and Charlie Langford, of Gainesville, Georgia; Ann and Bob Coley of Hendersonville, NC; granddaughter, Erica Flory and her husband Kyle and their two children, Sean and Bethany of Pineville, NC.

Frances retired from SunTrust Bank and will be remembered as honest, confident and always having a compassionate heart. Her unwavering faith and positive outlook on life helped her graciously accept the diagnosis of Alzheimer’s.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 14 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Northside Chapel Funeral Directors, 12050 Crabapple Road, Roswell, Georgia with the service immediately following at 11:30 AM in their chapel.  In lieu of flowers we think our mom would suggest when you see a perfect opportunity, perform a random act of kindness and perhaps it will be paid forward over and over; or donate to the charity nearest to your heart; or Aberdeen Place Hospice, 700 Old Roswell Lakes Pkwy, Ste. 110, Roswell, GA 30076 who took such wonderful care of our mom.
