Russell Ted Tullis

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Russell Ted Tullis, age 69, of Jefferson, who passed away on Friday, April 10, 2015. Mr. Tullis was born in Buford, GA, a so to the late Henry Early Tullis and the late Mary Simpson Tullis. Mr. Tullis was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, a member of the Maranatha Baptist Church and a Volkswagen Mechanic. In addition to his parents, Mr. Tullis was preceded in death by his sister in laws, Linda M. Tullis and Cindy Whitlock, and brother and sister in law, Kenny and Mary Edwards.

Survivors include his wife, Martha Whitlock Tullis of Jefferson; son, Russell Darin Tullis of Belize, daughter, Deidre Mallick of Land O Lakes, FL, son, Richard Darrell (Amanda) Tullis of Jefferson; brother, Richard D (Kay Harper) Tullis of Buford; sister, Sharon (Scott) Kinsey of Lula; brother and sister in law, Oscar and Ann Morrison of Jefferson; Brother in law, Jimmy Whitlock of Jefferson; grandchildren, Brianna Crumbley, Sarah Tullis, Dylan Tullis, Amber Tullis, Nathan Thaxton, Kendra Gasperson, Blakey Mallick and one great grandchild, Carson Gunter.

The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 13, 2015 at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral home with Rev. Lamar Purcell, Rev. Terry Hagwood and Rev. Zach Watson officiating. The burial will follow in the Broadlawn Memorial gardens in Buford, GA with James Murphy, Caleb Edwards, Andy Edwards, Mark Edwards, Brian Bullock, Jimmy Wilson and Dylan Tullis honored as pallbearers. The visitation will be held on Sunday evening from 5-8pm at 6 Evans Funeral home.
