Peggy Anne Edwards Cochran

Mrs. Peggy Anne Edwards Cochran, age 72, of Commerce died Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at The Oaks of Athens.  Mrs. Cochran was born in Jefferson to the late, William and Eva Davis Edwards.  Mrs. Cochran was a retired LPN from Athens Regional Medical Center and a member of Oconee Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cochran was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Cochran, son, Eugene Thomas (Cowboy) Cochran, and son-in-law, David Nylander.

Mrs. Cochran is survived by her daughters, Teresa Minish, Janice Owensby, and Cheryl Nylander all of Commerce; sisters, Betty Miller and Donnette Bowles both of Commerce, and Margaret Mooney of Carnesville; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren; best friend, Abby.

Funeral service will be held Sat. April 11 at 2:00 PM from Oconee Baptist Church with Rev. Swayne Cochran and Rev. Bethe Kellum officiating with the interment following at Sunrise Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday night from 6-9 PM.
