Wiley Jackson 'WJ' Garrett

Memorial services for Wiley Jackson “WJ” Garrett, age 81 of Demorest, Georgia will be held on Friday, April 10, 2015 at 8:00 PM from the Hillside Memorial Chapel with Rev. Eddy Ramey officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service on Friday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Mr. Garrett passed away April 6, 2015 at his residence.  

Born on September 21, 1933 in White County, Mr. Garrett was the son of the late John and Dollie Abernathy Garrett. He was retired from the logging industry.

Survivors include his wife Barbara Jones Garrett of Demorest, daughters Tonya G. Kastner of Clarkesville and Stephanie Garrett (fiancé Chris Collins) of Demorest, sons Roy Garrett (fiancée Heather Jones) of Demorest, Wiley Dale Garrett of Cleveland, Dale Jones of Demorest, Todd Jones of Demorest, Bradley Jones of Clarkesville and son and daughter in law Stacy and Sharon Jones of Clarkesville, sister Virginia Roberts of Winder, thirteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, as well as former son in law Chris Kastner.
