Sandra Sue Floyd Cape

Sandra Sue Floyd Cape, 74, of Flowery Branch passed away on Monday, April 6, 2015 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Alta Vista Cemetery. Reverend Dwayne Welborn will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Cape was born on November 12, 1940 in Gainesville to the late William A. and Elizabeth McGuire Floyd. She was retired from Gem Jewelry.  She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Charles Anthony Marlowe; granddaughter, Chelsea Elizabeth Marlowe; sisters, Joyce Forrester and Wilma Clark.

Mrs. Cape is survived by her daughter, Monica Beatty of Flowery Branch’ daughter and son-in-law, Michelle “Mimi” and Shane Parr of Gainesville; grandchildren, James A. Beatty, Brittany Sue Ann Beatty, Kristin Lea Marlowe, Courtney Ann Marlowe, Dylan Samuel Loggins and Charles Christopher Parr; great grandchildren, Caylee Ann Canova, Jaylah Elizabeth Banks, Khloe Skye Sartain and Princeton Lamar Banks; brothers and sisters, Lawrence and Dot Floyd, Royce and Gail Brown, Becky Stephens and Brenda Shamel.
