Eula Jean Samples Shadburn

Eula Jean Samples Shadburn, age 92, of Buford, GA passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Troy L. Shadburn; sons, Gene Shadburn and Robert Shadburn; daughter, Lou Ann Shadburn Cochran; grandson, Adrian Shadburn; and great grandson, Elijah Dean Ryder. She is survived by her eleven children, Rev. Joel and Belma Shadburn, Cleveland, GA, Paul and Linda Shadburn, Buford, GA, Charles and Barbara Shadburn, Dawsonville, GA, Royce and Connie Shadburn, Buford, GA, Morris and Katrina Shadburn, Claxton, GA, Henry and Penny Shadburn, Oakwood, GA, John and Pam Shadburn, Gainesville, GA, Joyce and Buddy Hannah, Flowery Branch, GA, Patsy and Ralph Crane, Flowery Branch, GA, Gail and Donnie Calvert, Buford, GA, and Sheila and Jeff Autry, Jefferson, GA; fifty-three grandchildren; fifty-one great grandchildren; twelve great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Shadburn was born August 11, 1922 in Forsyth County. She was a homemaker and member of Peoples Baptist Church, Flowery Branch, GA. Funeral service will be held Thursday, April 9, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Brian Crane, Rev. Joel Shadburn, Rev. Charles Shadburn, Rev. Morris Shadburn, Rev. Chris Hulsey, and Rev. Matt Calvert officiating. Interment will follow at Peoples Baptist Church cemetery, 6182 McEver Road, Flowery Branch, GA 30542. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
