Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. William David “Bill” Presley, age 67 of Maysville, Georgia who entered into rest Saturday, April 4, 2015. Mr. Presley was born in Jackson County Georgia the son of the late Wilburn and Ruth McDonald Presley, was a member of Redeemed Baptist Church, was an Ordained Minister, and was a plumber by trade. Mr. Presley found great enjoyment in artistry and was an accomplished painter. The love of music was a big part of Mr. Presley’s life, he made musical instruments throughout his life and taught music to many who shared his interest especially his family who share his love of making music. In addition to his parents, Mr. Presley is preceded by brothers, Ford, Bert, Tom and Lee Presley and sisters, Lila Gee and Evelyn Healan.
Survivors include his wife, Shelby Fowler Presley of Maysville, Son; David Presley and his wife Dana of Maysville, Son; Darrel Presley and his wife Sharon of Nicholson, daughter; Melody Dudziak and her husband Mark of Jefferson. Four sisters; Margie Gaddis of Braselton, Betty Edge of Gainesville, Clara Palmer of Monroe, and Wilma Jean Dalton of Athens. Five grandchildren, three great grandchildren and close family friends Danny and Cindy Whitlock also survive.
