Mrs. Sarah Nalley Reed, age 71, of Clermont, Georgia, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, April 6, 2015 at Alta Vista Cemetery. Reverend Phil Carpenter will officiate.
Sarah was a lifelong resident of Hall County, born January 5, 1944 the daughter of the late Jeff Bige Nalley and Edna Adkins Nalley. She was a graduate of South Hall High School and Gainesville College. Over the years she worked at several local banking institutions including First National Bank and Habersham Bank. Most recently she worked at Elachee Nature Center.
Sarah is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Dana and Randall Kanaday; son and daughter-in-law, David and Jessica Reed all of Clermont; grandsons, Cody Reed and Dawson Reed; granddaughters, Alyx Kanaday and Lindy Kanaday; brother, Lamar (Tiny) Nalley of Marble Hill; aunt, Nola Wofford of Gainesville; extended family, friends and neighbors.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made in Sarah’s honor to Elachee Nature Center 2125 Elachee Drive Gaineville, GA 30504.
