Virginia Anorma Wolfe Wood

Virginia Anorma Wolfe Wood 85, of Cumming, GA passed away on March 27, 2015 peacefully at her home with her family by her side. Virginia was a lifelong resident of Forsyth County and retired from Sawnee EMC after many years of service. Virginia was a founding member of Cumming Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Herman J. Wood (Buck), her parents Miles and Lila Mae Wolfe, her sister Nancy Sue Wolfe Spence and her niece Stacey Mishelle Spence.

Virginia is survived by her brother-in-law and care giver- Neal Spence, Sr., her sister and brother-in-law- Jerri and Lt. Col. William S. Perrin, USA, Ret. of Clarkston, GA. Nieces- Marty Spence Kettel (Uwe) of Albstadt, Germany and Suzanne Spence (Dowe) of Cumming, GA. Nephews- Maj. Gen. Mark W. Perrin, USA, Ret. (Annie) of The Villages, FL, Miles Perrin (Marge) of Duluth, GA, Lt. Col. John P. Perrin, USA. Ret. (Bianca) of N. Augusta, SC and Neal Spence, Jr. (Tammy) Houston, TX and many other great nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 31st at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Fish officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Monday from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Cumming Baptist Church Building Fund in her name.
