Ernest Edwin Edwards

Ernest Edwin Edwards born July 4th, 1928 went to be with the Lord on March 27th, 2015.

He is survived by his daughter Deborah (Faron) Power of Lancaster, CA; his son Dennis (Marie) Edwards of Acworth, GA; two granddaughters Jennifer Chase of Acworth, GA and Kara Lauro of Arlington, VA; three grandsons Justin (Karla) Lauro of Fayetteville, NC, Dennis "DJ" (Kim) Edwards of Acworth, GA, David (Ashley) Edwards of Cedartown, GA; two great grandsons Mason and Jacob Edwards of Acworth, GA; one brother Roy Edwards of Hoschton, GA; two sisters Katherine (Bud) Knox of Duluth, GA, Evelyn Maudlin of Gainesville, TX; brother-in-law Jones Allen "Pete" (Charlotte) Garmon of Jefferson, GA; sister-in-law Beverly (Jerry) Scott of Commerce, GA and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean Edwards; parents Henry and Toughey Edwards and a brother James Edwards.

Visitation will be held at Ivie Funeral Home from 11 AM until 2 PM on Tuesday March 31st, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM following the visitation at Hudson River Baptist Church in Commerce, GA. The body will be cremated after the service.
