Doris Jenkins Puckett, age 87, of Buford, GA passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-six years, James L. Puckett; daughter, Linda Joyce Allen; parents, Lewis and Ruth Johnson Jenkins; and stepmother, Essie Jenkins. She is survived by her children, Ron and Felecia Puckett, Auburn, GA, Darlene and Mike Jutze, Waskom, TX, Edna Thornton, Hoschton, GA, Diane and Lester Lindsay, Lawrenceville, GA, Jean and Tony Walker, Alpharetta, GA, and Harold Allen, Jr., TN; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild; brothers and sister-in-law, Everett and Ruby Jenkins, NC, Danny Ray Jenkins, Winder, GA, and Jimmy Jenkins, Winder, GA; sister, Shirley Davis, FL; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Susie and John Corley, Buford, GA; brother-in-law, Doug Puckett, Orlando, FL; special niece, Brenda Brown, Buford, GA; special nephew, Kenneth and Vickie Jenkins, Buford, GA; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Puckett was born July 31, 1927 in Duluth, GA. She was retired from Lovable Company in Buford, GA and was a member of Riverside Baptist Church, Buford, GA. Funeral service is scheduled for Monday, March 30, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Rawlins and Rev. Bill Burnham officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Baptist Church Cemetery, Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, March 29, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
