Albert A. Blalock

Albert A. Blalock, age 83, of Cornelia, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015.

Born on August 21, 1931 in Alto, Georgia, he was a son of the late Albert B. and Mahala Nix Blalock. Mr. Blalock was retired from Coca Cola and American Business and was a member of Bible Landmark Church. He enjoyed listening to Southern Gospel Music.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by six brothers and sisters.

Survivors include wife of 29 years, Hilda Gee Blalock of Cornelia; daughters and sons-in-law, Gail and Larry Lutz of Tucker and Jill and Steve Underwood of Demorest; son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Docia Blalock of Arizona; son, Reid Blalock of Gainesville; stepson and spouse, Elvis and Dana Gee of Cleveland; sister, Birdell Wade of Alto; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Rev. Bill Trotter and Rev. David Moody officiating. Interment will follow in Alto Congregational Holiness Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10 am until the service hour on Saturday at the funeral home.
