Ben Preston Gordon

Mr. Ben Preston Gordon, age 79, of Maysville, GA died Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at St. Mary's Hospital. Mr. Gordon was born in Commerce to the late Willie F. and Vassie Lewallen Gordon. He was a member of Ridgeway Baptist Church and was retired from Banks County Board of Education.

Mr. Gordon is survived by his wife, Jean Nash Gordon of Maysville; daughters, Stacy Krumnow (Randy) of Homer and Regina Snyder (David) of Maysville; sons, Chris Gordon and Jason Gordon (Tammy) all of Maysville; brothers, Winfred Gordon of Carnesville and Eugene Gordon (Gloria) of Powder Springs; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11 AM, Saturday, March 28 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Jim McLendon and Rev. Bill Manus officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday night from 6 to 8 PM.
