Doris McCumber

Doris McCumber, 93, of Gainesville passed away on Friday, March 20, 2015 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Church of Nazarene with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Gary Huff and Reverend Don Moore will officiate. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 23, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. McCumber was born on November 3, 1921 in Adrian, Michigan to the late Bert and Mildred Wheeler. She was a retired computer operator and a Member of Church of Nazarene. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, William E McCumber.

Mrs. McCumber is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Renee McCumber of Jacksonville, FL, Bruce and Lynn McCumber of Gainesville, Bill and Tamara of Gainesville, Bert and Melinda McCumber of Murrayville; daughter, Jean McCumber of Gainesville; 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
