Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Virginia Mae Field, age 92 of Commerce, Georgia who entered into rest Friday, March 20, 2015. Mrs. Field was born in Gray, Maine, the daughter of the late Clinton Herbert Field and the late Caroline Edwards Field Day. Mrs. Field was a retired Baker with the Douglasville Hospital and a member of the Seventh Day Adventist. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Field is preceded by her husband Edward John Field.
Survivors include a daughter, Valerie Ethridge and her husband Jimmy of Jefferson, Son; Richard Field and his wife Anna of Fort Pierce, Florida, grandchildren; Barbara Field Grant and Dan Field, great grandson; Colton Grant, two nieces; Audry Field Groves and Carol Field Greer.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 24, 2015 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home, with the receiving of friends from 12:00 PM to the hour of service with cremation to follow.
