Matthew 'Scott' Coleman

Mr. Matthew "Scott" Coleman, age 59, of Lilburn, GA passed away March 3, 2015. Although he was born in Minneapolis, MN, he grew up and spent much of his life in Chamblee, GA. Scott was employed as a school teacher for over 20 years, and found his gift of working with students with special needs. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and had a deep love for travel and animals.
Surviving are his daughter, Cara Coleman of Gainesville, GA, brother, David Coleman of Chanhassen, MN, and many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Atlanta Unity Church in Norcross with Reverend Donna Jernigan officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gwinnett County Humane Society in Scott's memory.
